Optical Imaging System
Laboratory
The research of the Optical Imaging System Lab is focused on the intersection between photonics and computing. We are interested in developing optical platforms for imaging and photonic computing, as well as solving modeling and design problems in optics and photonics.
Research topics include computational imaging and photonic information processing systems for commercial, biomedical sensing and imaging in visible, infrared, and X-ray regimes. We combine physics modeling and machine learning tools, solving optimization problems in photonics. We are passionate about education in optical imaging and optics in general. Please check out our MATLAB courseware on Optical System Modeling.
Optical Imaging System Lab@CREOL is looking for talented graduate students and postdoctoral scientists to join the group. Students and postdoctoral scientists with background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics are welcome to contact Prof. Pang.
